Minimum Device Software Version Requirements

There are minimum software Version requirements for the ThirdChannel App to operate optimally. Often frustrating issues can be easily resolved with an upgrade of software or an app update.

Make sure you download and install the latest version of the ThirdChannel App and opt-in for automatic updates to keep your app healthy!

iOS
The software for your Apple device must be at least iOS 17.0 which was released in 2023.

This supports devices dating to the iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro 1st Generation, iPad 5th Generation, and iPod touch 7th Generation.

Android
The software for your Android phone must be at least Version 13 which was released in 2022.   

This does not currently support Android tablets. 

Recommendations for Android Devices 

RAM

• Minimum: 6GB
• Recommended: 8GB

Android OS version

• Minimum: Android 13+
• Recommended: Android 15+

Top Android Device Recommendations

• Samsung Galaxy S series (S23+)
• Google Pixel Series (7+)

Top Android Budget Device Recommendations

• Samsung Galaxy A series (Ax5+ with 6GB+ of RAM minimum, 8GB+ Recommended – NOTE: Some of the Ax5+ models come with 4GB of RAM but we do not recommend these for use with the ThirdChannel App.

NOTE: NEVER UNINSTALL OR REINSTALL THE APP UNLESS ASKED TO BY SUPPORT All information collected and uploaded photos within any unsubmitted Visit Reports will be permanently erased and unrecoverable.
